Joe dont worrie about it..This Guy Bert Obviusly has never done anything on a whem. It takes skill to pull something off with no notice or planing..
Bert, youve made an ass of your self.. And you Could never work for me.

Before anyone dishes out any criticism they should check their spelling first.
Mike is a person. Mic. is short for microphone.
sorry just being "constructive".

Bert - thanks for your comments. You're spot on with your video lesson - your time in A/V club served you well. We were guests at this party and approached it as such - chilling with Paul and others in the industry while keeping an eye out for cool opportunities to shoot a little YouTube-style video if they presented themselves. We had no intentions of bringing a lot of gear and setting up for a real deal shoot. Sorry you didn't enjoy the clip. :< We share your passion for quality sound and video, though! Thanks for the comments -- maybe next time we'll bring a full set up and do it right!

O.K., I'm going to be constructive.
NEVER use any on-camera mike as your main audio source. It will always be way too far away from the subject to get any decent sound.
Here's what you do. Get a digital audio recorder, and put it on a tripod within 3 feet of the performer or the interview subject. Just let it run and sync it with the video when editing. The Sony PCM-D50 is a great recorder, btw. Check it out.
If you had a knitting magazine instead of one that all about sound, you could get away with crappy sound.
You can thank me later.

Who knows what the guitar sounds like?
This is absolutely the worst video ever. I can't see much, and I hear even less.
Please, spend five minutes and teach your people how to operate a camcorder.

The best marketing concept there is. Build a wonderful product. Then put it in the hands of greatness and just stand back and watch the interest grow. Wow! PRS acoustics! I can hardly wait.
