uh, Ronny... I played these amps (Alchemist). Sorry, but I strongly disagree with your view's and I would imagine most professionals that actually have played one would feel the same. I was considering the Vox AC30 but I preferred the versatility and overall unique tone of the Alchemist, very impressed with this amp. And yes, I don't care if it was made in China. All I care about is tone, tone, and more tone

Hello: I was not enpressed with the sound. The tonenality sucked. I know you make good amps, but it has to have life and breaths, so when you back off of your volume or tone it cleans up and when you open your volume control you get overtones and allows you to sing. Most small amps that I have tried sounds good in the store,but when you get them on the stage there is no volume on the clean side or tonenality. Give me an amp that has a soul and breaths and I will touch your heart.
